Miami Dolphins
You know that Hall of Fame voter who chose to use his ballot against Cal Ripken's induction? Or have you ever met the guy who sits on the edge of the pool as everyone else does cannonballs, claiming that swimming is overrated? I like CBSSports.com football writer Pete Prisco, but when attacking the "Wildcat" formation in a recent article, he comes ...

217,
its the dead winter of the offseason...what do you want?

I for one was hoping to see the Wildcat kept in the playbook but on the back burner, used with the frequency something akin to Tomlinson throwing endzone passes in SD a few years back (about once every other game) For better or worse it looks like they are heavily invested in it again.
I don't like the stigma of calling it a gimmick or trick play, but its also not a sustainable staple of an NFL offense. It was solved by years end, and the highly lauded "new wrinkles" coming down the pipe can only go so far, and will be solved too.
I also think a little too much is made of the idea that it forcing opposing defenses to prepare for it. While this is true and could disrupt their normal prep pattern, its not like it is going to send them into a tailspin as they forget how to defend everything else while spending hours and hours breaking down the complexity of the Wildcat.
Where it really could pay dividends is if it is integrated into an effective conventional rushing attack with a (knock on wood, cross fingers toss salt over shoulder, etc) solid and healthy line and a fully ressurgent Ronnie Brown...then it becomes a pick your poison game for the opposition.

Prisco rubs me the wrong way at times too, as he at times seems to exhibit and almost Jaws-like anti Phin bias, but he isn't completely out in left field on this one.
