Miami Dolphins
Ok, ok. Maybe I'm overreacting a bit. I understand that a touchdown against backups, late in an early preseason game, does not make for a season. It doesn't even make for a secured spot on the 53-man roster. Still, you have to admit that Ernest Wilford's third-quarter touchdown jaunt against the Jacksonville Jaguars makes the Miami Dolphins'...

Well Hugo, I don't think you are to far off. He can catch the ball, but he just isn't the fastest guy on the field. when he is in the game everyone knows he isn't there to block, so even if he isn't the legit target he will probably pull a safety to cover him and that will hopefully leave someone with single coverage. If a linebacker is on him then he might be the go to target. The only reason he didn't get much playing time last year was because Bess turned out to be a quick and dependable receiver. I sure wouldn't depend on Wilford blocking the weak side on a deep route, but as a decoy he fits in well.

probable gonna be cut. not that much more explosive than the dolphin's other conventional tight ends and not a great blocker.
