Miami Dolphins
Do you remember the classic Public Enemy anthem Don't Believe the Hype? Man, what a terrific song. It had a great hook and was true on so many levels. Anyway, to football. Miami Dolphins head coach Cam Cameron is catching plenty of heat in South Florida, but it has nothing to do with the scorching August temperatures. The most glaring sore spot...

It's good self-motivation to play with a little fear of losing your starting job. Zach Thomas does this all the time and he obviously is in no danger of losing his starting spot.

It's hard to judge Ronnie Brown, who is more of a power/downhill runner, during preseason games. Ricky Williams never ran that well in preseason games during his first and second years at Miami. This year's O-line and QB(s) should be better than last year's crew so there should be a decent level of confidence that Brown will reach better numbers than last year. Let's just hope he can stay healthy all year.

Don't over-react and assume that most miami fans buy into what media writes. After all they are just media. Some are good and some are not. Give fans more credit.

Ok, let's avoid all the bandwagons and try to guess what is happening in the coach's head. Is he saving the stand out rookies for later inthe season and keep them from the grizzle of the media glare, introducing them slowly. Is he sthinking, how am I gonna motivate rookies and newbie vets on the squad other than giving the older guys the slot and letting them lose it during the first weks of the regular season? Probably neither, I just get the feeling something pretty clever is happening via Cam's roster moving, I just don't know what it is? Anybody have any thoughts?
