The Pete Kendall situation was resolved in the best way for both teams.It wasn`t a question of Miami anteing up. The Jets never would have traded with them . Washington`s line is already established . Pete Kendall was the missing piece on the left side. (Author's Note: The Jets would've traded with the Dolphins if the price was right. The Broncos just consummated a deal with the Raiders, and rivalries don't get any more heated than that one.)

You suggest that "There might be a journeyman guard out there during the next two weeks who's slightly better than Hadnot or Liwienski." Doesn't that statement indicate that Hadnot and Liwienski are less than journeymen?
