While that is certainly true, as evidenced by the musical chairs act at quarterback position, it begs the question: Will it take a Marino 2.0 to get Miami back to being a playoff fixture? In...

Correction, Beck had 2 interceptions, and he is only 2years younger than Lemon so its not like he is your average rookie aged QB. With that being said, I hope Beck is the future of the franchise so that he can shut some of these Quinn groupies up. If you were to check the stats you will see that Beck's stats are almost identical to the so-called golden boy. It'll never happen but I would love to see a John Beck v. Brady Quinn showdown on Oct. 14 when we go to Cleveland. Go Phins. (Editor's note: Quality analysis and thanks for the feedback, Tony. Beck's stats have been corrected. -- Alex Guzman)

We don't need no stinkin Marino. Fiedler was good enough to take the team to the big game if he had a good o line. Remember a guy named Trent Dilfer did it with a team very much like the Fins with the exception that he had a line. Gus was good enough and I think that any of the three on the roster now might be good enough, but they must have protection. Cam's philosophy of building from the center out is key to success.
