Miami Dolphins
Some were referring to yesterday's New England-Indianapolis tilt as Super Bowl XLI½. Some were hailing it as the game of the century. As far as the 0-8 Miami Dolphins were concerned, it didn't really much matter who won the game or what the appropriate naming convention should have been. OK...So who were the Patriots and Colts trying to replicate before they got so good? I would bet these teams did not try to replicate anyone. They gathered key players via free agency and the draft; they don't make dumb mistakes like...Joey Porter,Daunte Culpepper, Jason Allen. The Pats and Colts utilize their player talent. It's not brain surgery; but to say the Dolphins need to replicate either of these teams is a mistake. The Dolphins need to grab the best players available in the draft and stop trying to fill voids that let better talent slip through...Let's face it; the Dolphins are getting better on the O-line. However, it and every other phase of this team still needs overhauled.

Good remarks 17&0. Hugo write about soccer or ping pong...football is out of his league. I still laugh about Cameron trading Welker to a team in his own division. That is just plain stupid. we got a second rounder for him only beacuse Welker was a free agent and the dolphins couldn't match the offer from the Pats. Again, bad management and forethought. Fortunatley the new center is working out well, but he hasn't caught 7 td passes and averaged 40 yards a return.
