Thomas should retire.

This won't be a popular move, but there should be teams out there who will give Miami a 2nd round pick for Taylor. Denver's defensive coordinator (Jim Bates) used to be Miami's. Assuming Bates stays in Denver, he'll lobby hard for Taylor who plays DE in a 4-3 scheme better than 95% of the DEs in the league today.

Miami needs extra picks to draft defensive linemen and secondary playmakers.
