| Alan Faneca will not come cheap, so the answer is no. Sure, Willie Parker ran for over 1,000 yards before he got hurt late in the season. But, Ronnie Brown would have done the same had he not gotten hurt. It's a hypothetical comment, but Brown has more upside than Parker (better receiver, better blocker, and as good a runner who does not fumble the ball). Miami needs two good off-seasons to be a competitive football team and should build the team, including the O-Line, from the draft. Miami needs a major roster overhaul by getting younger. A 10-year veteran, no matter how good or savvy, will not help Miami in the long run. The Joey Porter signing did not exactly turn out great, so let's hope Miami will not make the same mistake in 2008. The rebuilding formula should be: trade some veterans (Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas?) to pick up draft picks and/or 3rd- and 4th-year players, draft well, coach well, pray not too many players get hurt, and hope the young guns adjust well to the NFL game. | ||

| hi the dolphins should consider alan faneca but he has two come cheap faneca reminds me of pete kendall if you put him on your line the line will improve the bad news is he has not much left two or three years maybe and by the time we are ready to win big he will be gone and then you are going to have to fine his replacement so your line will regress in two to three years when he leaves so the guy that i like alot is jacob bell from the titans he is a free agent and we could get him cheap and he is young and big and very athletic and his agent is drew rosenhaus so we could get him easily if we wanted him and he would play the leftguard position two okay | ||
