I still think Shepard makes it out in a trade before the season starts. I don't know why Phil Savage hasn't been on the horn with the Eagles and/or Drew Rosenhaus to get this done.

Personally, I am still hoping that with a new agent we might be able to trade Lito Sheppard and our R1'09 to the Lions for Roy Williams. I think Sheppard has virtually burnt his bridges with the organisation. Williams/Curtis/Brown will be as talented a WR group as any with Jackson as an additional burner.

At S, we have brought in Demps through the draft but I think we will play Considine. He is a FA at the end of the season I believe and we need to see if he can hold up for an entire season and is worth resigning.

I like Collins at FB and was surprised he was not drafted. I think he gives us versatility lining up at FB but able to move to H-Back and give that receiving option between plays. Wilson who we signed from Chiefs is a similar player who has been a FB/TE and I would like them to be on the field at the same time as our true TE in Smith and Celek and maybe Schobel if he is retained.

If Tra and Donovan remain fit, I am very optimistic about the forthcoming season.
