The facts are slightly off regarding Kerney's career - I don't think he was ever actually used at LB. When Wade Phillips was hired in 2002 and installed the 3-4 defense, he moved him to LB in training camp, but then back to DE before the season started. The article says that the Falcons switched from 3-4 to 4-3 in 2001, which was not the case.
