Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons coach Jim Mora Jr. is being coy this week. He has no choice. His team's two top running backs (unless you count Michael Vick in that department) are hurting. Warrick Dunn has a calf injury, Jerious Norwood sprained his right knee. Neither injury is considered season-threatening, but it's iffy as to whether either will be ready to...

Falcons can really make a statement this week. It's too bad that they are banged up, they need everybody they can get going into this last stretch. Atlanta has the kind of finish to their schedule that could easily put them at 10-6 or 7-9. They are essentially in the playoffs as of now! Dallas, Carolina and Philly are all in the hunt. Whoever steps up gets the reward of playing at New Orleans or Chicago.

I'm attending the Atlanta/Dallas game on Saturday night and really looking forward to what will happen. The anticipation and excitment is here in Atlanta this week as the Falcons edge closer and closer to a much-wanted playoff berth. Michael Vick could break an old record on Saturday night at the Gerogia Dome here in Atlanta: most rushing yards by a quarterback in one season, but he also could be the first QB in NFL history to run for more than 1000 yards in one season. It's gonna be a great game at the Gerogia Dome on Saturday night.
