Adrian Peterson, Minnesota's star rookie running back, will miss at least one game after suffering a torn lateral collateral ligament in his right knee Sunday against Green Bay. Peterson is not expected to need surgery or miss a lot of time, although his return date is uncertain. Coach Brad Childress ruled Peterson out for the Vikings' game...

I hope AD realizes this year is a waist and takes his time healing. In no way does this team deserve his talents without the help of a qb and decent recievers to ease the burden on him, even if he does like all the carries. He should drag this injury on as long as he can.
