| They don't have a QB that I would start on a high school team. Childress will go down in history as the worst coach of all time. When you don't have a clue, ask questions, change game plans, fire yourself or just dissapear. PLEASE! I am humiliated to be a Viking fan. I wrote a column for a newspaper and think I am the biggest fan of all time. That was the record breaker of all time. The officiating pist me off. The holding was the worst I've seen yet. I saw one player be pulled down by his face mask, several being pulled down by their jerseys annd several had been turned around before being pulled to the ground. I seen that idiot over achieving Favre throw 2 yards over the line of scrimmage and not one call. I seen the Vikings get called on a false start and were not even set. I seen the pukers start a play in a hurry up offense and were not set. I seen the pukers recievers pushing and not one call. I seen the vikings recievers being called for pushing off and no such thing happened. Since when in the NFL is a shuttle pass underhanded? They call that a forward lateral. How about Al Harris leading with his halmet and taking out AP's knee. He had one goal and one goal only and that was to hurt AP. Again, no flag. I seen off sides on kick off's, encroachment, ruffing the QB, defensive holding and blocks to the back. Again, not one call. The officials had this game decided before it started. Everyone of the Pukers drives would have been a hell of a lot harder if the penalties were called. They couldn't even get close to the QB on defense when they are being pulled down by their jerseys. The team with the most talent wore purple that day. Excluding the dumbest coach in NFL history. I am tired of watching WWF football. I'm not saying the Vikes would have won the game because Chilly is the dumbest human being to ever walk up right. But it would have been a hell of a lot more interesting if the officials would have called the game the same both ways. I say it is fixed and the NFL is trying to Make the idiot over achieving Farve go out like Elway did. Has anybody ever seen a game where farve didn't bounce the ball off of a couple of defenders and some idiot puker come down with it. Than you see the idiot go running off of the field acting like it was by design raising both fingers in the air proclaiming himself to be number 2. The idiot can't spell or count. He is to dumb to know when he is hurt. Maybe there should be an asterisk next to his records, since he was on morphine for a lot of it. | ||

| Greenbay Sucks - Love the vitriol !! I watched this game until mid-3rd quarter and never have I seen so many bad calls go against the Vikes, or to put it more accurately, so many good calls go in Green Bay's favor. The elbow-to-the-helmet penalty (was it Ray Edwards?) was one of the worst calls in history, not to mention the pass interference on (Griffin/McCauley?) where the GB receiver literally ran up his back. Since when can't a DB run in the path of a WR, as long as he doesn't touch him??? I've seen our WR's get mugged, mauled, raped, and pillaged on a pass right in their hands, and no flag EVER comes out against the DB. Its amazing how many calls Farve gets from the refs. No wonder he throws and completes so many passes....he rarely has to worry that a pass will result in anything bad. Remember the 1st game when Sharper picked of Farve's 1st pass. Yep, pass interference, GB ball. The Vikes lost this game before it even started, because it was 17 against 11, and the NFL still needs its "golden boy quartet" of Manning, Brady, Romo, and Farve. The Packers are NOT that good. Maybe a 6-3 team, certainly NOT an 8-1 team without some "referee intervention". Now, all that being said, this is one of the WORST Vikings teams I have ever watched, and I've been watching them for over 35 years. The past few years of QB play, aside from "Butterfingers" Culpepper, have been brutal, if not downright unwatchable. I've said it in other posts, and I'll say it here - in the upcoming draft, draft a QB in the 1st round, and a QB in the 2nd round, then another one in rounds 5-7. Preferrably, anyone who has played for some of the major programs (Ohio St, Penn St, USC, Florida, Texas, Louisville, Tennessee, Michigan, etc). Surely there are 2 guys who could do better than the current cast of Arena Football bench-warmers we now have. This game was point-blank proof that Brooks Bollinger IS NOT an NFL starting QB. Neither is Kelly Holcomb. Although I had pie-in-the-sky hopes that T-Jack could win more than 2 games this year, at best he's a 3rd string QB. When have the Vikes last had a decent QB from a high-profile college program. Think hard....back to the 60's. I've never seen or recall them draft a QB from Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, USC, Texas, UCLA, Texas A&M, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, or Miami (Gino Torretta doesn't count, since he was overrated in college, was a 7th round pick and didn't even make the team). Instead, we draft from Rice (Kramer), East Texas St. (Wilson), St. Cloud St (Bouman), Howard (Jay Walker), South Florida (Culp), pick up guys who couldn't make it with other teams (Gannon, Salisbury, George), retreads (McMahon, Moon, Cunningham, Johnson), and guys with no discernable talent (Toretta, Wynn, O' Sullivan, Mike McMahon, Jackson, Holcomb, Bollinger). Just because they were 2nd or 3rd stringers on another team and got cut, doesn't mean they can help the Vikings. Which leads me to the point that EVERYONE knows....Brad Childress is NOT an NFL head coach, and certainly NOT the right coach for this team. He lost more games last year than he's WON in 2006-2007 combined. Offensive coach? Yep, he's "offensive" all right. Let him and most of this staff go on Dec 30, right after they board the plane home from Denver. Keep Leslie Frazier, since I can see him doing some good things with the defense. But the offense....whew, doggy, is it painful to watch. | ||
