Of course he is the franchise qb. All these loser 9er fans need to smarten up. He led them to 2-1 before the injury and that's all that matters. He made the throws that mattered. Post injury, they suck. If you can't believe in a qb after watching him deliver on that game winning drive against arizona in week one, don't call yourself a fan. 9er fans just suck. He rushed back to please the fans and this is the thanks he got? If the Niners are dumb enough to trade him at his lowest value, I wish them the same success as the Giants of baseball.
