Way to go out on top riding into the sunset, Elwayesk. Big Ol Michael Strahan was a great DE, and an instant Hall of Famer. I loved how they STOMPED OUT the Pats in the Superbowl!!

Strahan's retirement came at a good time. If he had waited until longer in the offseason and into training camp it would have been a big distraction. The giants have plenty of distractions after their superbowl victory so this would only have added to that. He will be a big loss for the giants not only becuase of his physical abilities which haven't decreased with his older age, but also his on and off the field leadership with the team. He was their emotional leader, which means someone on the defense will need to step up this season, and that person will most likely be Antonio Peirce.
