New York Giants
This Sunday night in front of a national television audience, the New York Giants will play their biggest regular-season game of the Tom Coughlin era against the NFC conference-leading Chicago Bears. Unfortunately for the Giants, they're decimated by injuries. With Amani Toomer out for the year, Michael Strahan out at least two weeks and Osi...

Let's see -
You forgot to mention that Tim Carter's "old ways" depend on - get this - a quarterback that can throw him the ball!

What a concept - hey, I understand you guys are new to this concept - but there's a quarterback touching the ball on EVERY SINGLE play!

Unless you're 6 foot 5" and will jump in the air, risking career ending injury like Plax does every week - he's not throwing your way.

Yep - Eli likes to throw to Plax and hand off to Tiki and let them work their magic and make him look good.

He's even forgotten that Jeremy Shockey is on HIS TEAM. So lay off the NEGLECTED receiving corp of the Giants and place the blame squarely where it belongs - and we know where that is.

QB Eli Manning requires at least 4.5 sec to find everyone he can throw to, or he just picks one person and defenses watch and cover. Now, Plax is injuried going up two stories high to catch a ball and take the punishment coming down and now a six feet player isn't available to do that crazy thing. Will it be Tyree, Shockey, or Carter be next. Maybe an excited OL could help resolve this problem by giving Eli 1.5 sec more. Eli needs two more years to develop as an NFL QB. Maybe I am wrong. I hope I am. Now, we do not want Eli to throw interceptions, either. So we must resolve the pocket issue for him, don't you think? Coach Coughlin can't throw the ball, or think fast on the playing field, or manage the offensive game tempo, but he can provide more protection for Eli and his arm. Carter did that in one game catching a ball with three Falcons waiting to hit him when he came down causing a concussion in the beginning of the game, but he played the whole game. NYG has everything it needs to win the Superbowl. It has the coach, the coordinators, the special team players, defensive players and offensive players. It has the best owners in the NFL. It is missing "the drive to win the Superbowl" it appears. All receivers, when the QB gets in trouble, find an opening while moving back to him so he can locate one of you for the ball. There is always a way to win firmly, smartly, honestly and wisely. Defenses win games while Offenses certify the winning score. Win! Don't quit!
