"The Jets, very aware of their mistake to let Coles leave at the end of the '02 season" -- give me a break! The Skins paid Coles a $13M signing bonus. In the salary cap era, that just wasn't good value at all for a WR who only scored 5 times. Coles has never played to his track speed in cleats, and hasn't been the same player since his toe injury in Washington while Moss has shown the Jets did not know how to use him,

To add to Michael's comments, you need a stong armed quarterback, with deep accuracy, to take advantage of speedy receivers. Also, Washington apparently likes to overpay players so anytime they sign someone away from another team you can bet it is suspect.
