Detroit Lions
“What exactly is going on here?” While that may be one of the most common laments among Detroit Lions fans these days, RealFootball365 dares to rhetorically ask again in consideration of the 2008 version of the team. More specifically: What exactly is going on with Detroit's defense? Cue horror music! Get the ugly statistics on the set! ...

Anything about the Detriot Lions just leads back to Matt Millen. It really is amazing to me that he still has his job. How many consecutive losing seasons in a row does it take? Finally they get there offense going and start last season 6-2 but then there horrible defense couldn't keep them in a game for the rest of the year. There isn't one player on the defensive side of the ball for Detriot that would scare me. They possibly have one of the worst secondarys I have ever seen on paper, and it translates into there 258.2 pass yards per game they allowed last season that ranked them 31st in the NFL.

It really is unreal how Millen still has his job. Every year the Lions are expected to come in last in the division and then get the 6th pick and draft another horrible WR. Untill Millen gets fired the Lions have no hope.
