Dr D. very well diagnosed. Defense wins football games. Detriot stands no chance with the mnay passing teams in the NFL> Over the years we have seen a major shif from running games to passing game. eg. Patriots, Colts, Giants.
Some teams have caught on early and received some vaccinations from the potential deadly disease of a passing game.
I do think if detriot is faced with running plays they stand a good chance of fighting off the offensive virs.
Look forward to reading your special teams report

I think the defense will be somewhat better this season. Mike Martz last season had that offense begging for air when his offense was on the field for less than 2 minutes. The defense became worn out midway through the season. Look for an improvment on that alone with Mike Martz gone, but I don't think it will make it that big of a change.

Darby is going to be a non-factor for that D-line. Last season he only started 6 games and had 12 tackles and a half sack. Detroit needed to make many more and better moves if they wanted to have a chance this season.
