Wow! Good job spinning everything into a negative context. Obviously you haven't been paying close attention to the ways of Rod. The team is making major improvements. I guess that's not saying much because this team has been so terrible.
Marinelli is shifting this team to go into the right direction. Its taken a few years but, they needed lots of improving. This year they have pieces coming together.
The Lions will be first or second in their division this year. Bears don't stand a chance, Packers have too many distractions already, and the Vikings are still a 1 dimensional offense (which was Detroits problem last year).

This team is still a few years off. The 6-2 start last season was a fluke, but this team has some interesting pieces going forward, particularly Kevin Smith. However they still don't seem to have a direction.
