Lions sign Avril to three-year deal

The Lions signed third-round DE/LB Cliff Avril to a three year deal, the team announced. Avril is the first of the Lions' nine draft picks to sign. He will compete for time in the team's nickel package this season. Lions rookie contract status as of July 15 1 (17). OT Gosder Cherilus, Boston College 2 (45). OLB Jordon Dizon, Colorado 3 (64)....

I really think Kevin Smith from Central Florida is going to make an impact on this football team.
