In the never-ending (OK, August-ending) quest to analyze every single player in the NFL so that my fantasy team might actually show signs of life this year, today this writer takes a look at the high-flying, high-stat Detroit Lions in hopes of finding a gem. Well I guess I would take a shot with Calvin Johnson as my number 3 WR or bench guy. Thing is about him and his teammate Roy Williams, people draft by the names, not by the numbers, so they're both usually gone way too early.

Loved Michael Gaines in Buffalo last year. In fact, my friends and I named our beer pong table after him. I'm not even joking.
