Spikes is an attitude problem. It's not a negative attitude problem, but he does not know how to act as a winner. He has never had a winning season in this league, and frequently went for the hard hit instead of the smart defensive play (aka he let easy picks go). That said, he is the perfect guy for the Lions to pick up, he goes with their team image.

If it was spikes when he was on the bills and culpepper of the vikings days i would say yes but not the spikes of the eagles and culpepper of the raiders so i wouldnt bother with either of them.

Spikes is a good linebacker and is more servicable than most LB's in the league today. He is a ball hawk and always finds his way to the football. Good pick up for the Lions who need help on the defense, Spikes brings them a good veteran linebacker who will help the team out.
