None. No, really, all jokes and kidding aside – that’s how many wide receivers the Detroit Lions took in the draft last weekend. Zero. Honestly, it’s not another punch line. Face it. Millen overplayed his hand with the Dolphins and is about to get burned. First, by granting Joey permission to shop his services, he let the Dolphins off the hook as far as any potential tampering charges are concerned. And Joey literally emasculated Millen of any leverage when he publicly announced he's going to Miami - period. Matt has no leverage at all. Yesterday proved it. He tried to up the ante by getting the Browns involved, but that was a worthless bluff that everyone could see through. Joey is not going to drop his June 15 roster bonus for anyone but Miami. Cleveland was never going to pay that. Matt knows this. He should just accept the 6th rounder in 2007 from Miami right now while it is still on the table (assuming its still there). The longer he waits and tries to stare down Nick Saban, the more likely he is to end up with nothing. Nick is holding all the cards. Matt is holding the bag.
