Why the Lions will beat Oakland on Sunday

Detroit Lions
As though the first Sunday of the NFL season weren't exciting enough, league schedulers this year were even able to make the most of a couple of sad-sack cases that may not get much attention at all in 2007: namely, by matching the Detroit Lions and the Oakland Raiders for Week 1. It's a perfect time for last year's worst and second-worst teams...

Jeez I hope like hell you're wrong on this. I personally would like to see Culpepper start instead of McCown. He did not impress me at all during the preseason. He just seemed too eager to make things happen that it seemed to paralyze most of the series he played in. He needs to calm down and let things fall into place. This team has alot of potential and I would like to see them at least go 9-7, possibly 10-6. Hell, just beat the "Sandy A-hole Dolts", the "Chef's", and the "Donkey's" twice each this year and I'll be the happiest camper this side of the Mississippi!! Anythings else is frosting on the cake!! But whether they do or not, I'll still be true to my Oakland Raiders! Go forth and do good things. Raider Cur

you should be reporting the traffic or weather. it's no wonder you didn't put your name on this piece of crap (Eds. note: The writer is Os Davis. His name is not showing because of a technical error that we are in the process of fixing. Thanks.)
