The Defense and the O Line will be precisely what keeps the Lions from making the playoffs. Although I am looking forward to beating Dallas late into the season for the second year in a row, I am not counting on too many more wins. PS, nine wins will get a team into the playoffs this year, not eleven. Like 6 teams in the NFC could win 11 games.

The problem thay have so far is playing road games outside. I keep waiting for the Packers to choke. They are no better than the Lions really and share the same weaknesses. Looking at the schedule, I can see them getting to 8-8 easy. (Minnesota, Green Bay(home), Broncos(home), Cardinals). Beyond that, there are some weird games (Dallas (away), Giants and KC in Detroit) where they might pick up something.
