The offense wasn't the problem in Detriot. Rod Marinelli's PR machine however was able to push all the blame on Mike Martz. Sad thing is that the offense was the one thing close to working well. They have a team loaded up with receivers and now Marinelli is talking about how the they have to become a power rushing team. Marinelli is also using the Martz firing to deflect questions about him hiring his relatives as coaches. Marinelli will be gone by the end of next year.

Right on, Jack. Marinelli seems to get worse every freaking game. Is he just calling random plays and helping draft obedient empty-headed dudes? Looks like it sometimes. Often.
