Dorsey will be impossible to replace, even with one linebacker and two defensive linemen. Who is going to make 43 solo tackles and 7 sacks? Pittman should pick up where he left off last year with 32 solos and 8 sacks, which makes you wonder what the Bednarik people were thinking when they left him off their watch list. Neither Beckwith, Jackson nor Jean-Francois come anywhere near those kind of numbers.

Worse, the top three LSU tacklers from 2007 aren't returning: Dorsey (43), Steltz (66) and Highsmith (57). Some interesting numbers, a lineman, linebacker and safety were the top tacklers. Nice balance. 2008? Off balance. At least on defense.
