It seems like he was waiting for an open invitation to a starting job, which has not come. Daryl Stonum has been reported as a transfer lean also, but remarked on his (and I know this is flimsy) myspace.com page that he is not going anywhere. He mentioned the coaches not having a place for him, but a lot of times that is in regard to how he's practicing, not anything else. Junior Hemingway getting an extra year probably had influence on this decision. The starting WRs project as Greg Matthews, Hemingway, and Martavious Odoms...the former two as seniors.

Clemons should do what's best for himself and his future, but you'd think that Michigan...with no returning player at his position who made a lead pipe starting job lock type impact...he would have had all the opportunity he could want to get catches. And Rich wanted to keep him. He does deserve credit for giving it a try though instead of jumping leaving last year like so many others.
