I think you're missing the point of the O-line's weight loss. It has been stated by several coaches on multiple occasions that they aren't looking for a specific weight. They're trying to get the players to their optimum weight for performance. Each player's "optimum" weight will be different depending on their body and how they perform.

I do agree with your comments about strength. Since it's easier for our bodies to metabolize muscle than fat, any rapid weight loss will include a loss of muscle mass as well. I'm just going to trust that Mr. Dobson and the rest of the training staff have a plan to rebuilt the pipeline.
