great guy and great person for the game sad story wonder whos going to take over.

May God remember him. He was a great player for the Oakland Raiders and what he did for the players Union was great. Its sad to see a great player like Gene Upshaw who stood alongside Art Shell. The old school days. I know players in Oakland will make this the Gene Upshaw year. I send my regards to those he left behind. its always so very very hard to see someone go.

I saw people on sportscenter this morning with his jersey shows how much of an impact this man truly was to the game.
