Any sports draft is an inexact science. Whether it be through injury, inability or just plain being a bad fit on the team that drafts them, players picked high don’t always pan out. Sure, Matthew Stafford is projected as the No. 1 overall pick in this weekend's NFL draft, and while most think he’s a great quarterback prospect, fans and personnel ...
What's the buzz about?

Anyone up for posting their draft predictions for the first day on Saturday? This year it's tough with our new hole at left tackle but I am up for taking a shot.

Who I think the BILLS will draft
#11 Robert Ayers DE (Unless a miracle happens and Orakpo slips)
#28 E Britton LT
#43 Duke Robinson LG

This is actually the most lilkely scenario as it doesn't rely on anyone having to "fall" to us. Picks that it is VERY doubtful anyone will want before us with the exception of perhaps Duke Robinson.

##############################################################

Who I would draft
#11 Brian Orakpo
#28 Brandon Petigrew
#43 Duke Robinson

This scenario is based on 4 OT's. 1 DT, 2 QBs, 2 WR and 1 LB going in the first 10 picks. The real lynch pin to this scenario is Mark Sanchez. Every year the QBs are hyped and every year the #2 guy drops like a rock. There is sooo much buzz about Sanchez this year that he might actually go in the top 10.

If the Bills front office thinks that Walker can move to LT and Bell can start at RT go ahead, F' em. At least the guys that have anointed Trent Edwards our QB of the future will have a potential excuse when he get's broken yet again next year.

IT WAS THE CONCUSSION!!!!!!

Pettigrew is one of those guys who's going to drop a little and be undervalued because of an injury and the old "questionable character."

If they can get him at 28, that'd be a steal, but I think they have more pressing needs. Even still, Pettigrew has a rare combo of skills for a TE...but so did Marcedes Lewis, so buyer beware.
