| Wow, that was a great article. No your not a racist because you've discussed an issue that involves black people, but there are things that you don't get. The article says that you don't hate vick, but it does promote that black men are ignorent and Monsters!! Point one; In your article you use the comments of one Stephon Marbury and the likes of Roy Jones Jr. Both of these individuals have set black people back four hundred more years. They are not the representers of the afro american population, and neither is Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. I am Black so I will bring some kind of since to this topic. The truth of the matter is that Micheal Vick was cruel to pitbulls, what he did was wrong and I'm glad that he was punished for that crime. I will not defend the finanacing or the execution of the dogs. What I will defend is the fact that other football players have done worse with people and still play in the league. The Ray Lewis's and Lenard Little's of the world. There are parents that don't even play sports at all, who should be the real role models get off on less charges as Micheal Vick! Like the White Mother who put her infant babies in the dryer to watch them die, is she in prison? No, she's on the street looking for a job babysitting other people's children, because she was aquitted!! That is a living and breathing monster!! Like I've said, not defending Vick, but there is more in this world that is going on that should be addressed. I've also understand that the Communication's Director for George Bush made a comment about Micheal Vick. This comes from a party where the Vice President shoots a guy on a hunting trip, and then makes that guy apologize to the VP for getting in the way! Don't get me started on the so called "WAR OF TERROR" bull crap! But with that being said, I did support our leaders even though the actions were cruel and intentional. Everyone deserves a second chance to redeem themselves, thats why we have the Ricky Williams, Brett Farve's and the Dick Cheaney's of the world. Vick should be allowed to come back and play for a team, because he is a talented player, and because owes alot of people money. Once he scores that first NFL touchdown, people will forgive him. Sad to say it but that is the way life goes, we forgive but never forget! Good luck to Vick, he will be watched more than ever! | ||
