The history I have with the Lions goes way back, back to when Alex Karras played. I saw him and a few other Lions playing a charity basketball game at the local high school in Saginaw Township, Michigan. To me, a kid who just discovered football, I had just seen a huge celebrity, and I could not stop staring at Mr. Karras. Rooting for the Lions...
