It’s that time of year when the Hall of Fame inductees will be announced for this year. There are two absolute locks on the ballot for the first time: Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith. After that, it’s the usual list of very deserving candidates so there will sure to be several great players left out when the list is announced Super Bowl weekend....

Todd, offensive line might be one of the most difficult positions from which to make the Hall of Fame. Gary Zimmermanwas a pro's pro, All Decade in 2 different decades and finally got in. Rayfield Wright, who stoned Deacon Jones in his very first start and was an All Decade preformer, had to wait for the Senior's committee to get him in.
FYI, Grimm was All Pro in '83, '84, and '85. John Niland, who was All Pro twice and made 6 Pro Bowls, can't get a sniff of the Hall of Fame. Larry Allen might be the next no-brainer first ballot HOF from the Oline.
