Alex smith could be seeing his job be taken away if its going to happen like the names stated in this article.

I think the only person on the roster with any skill at QB could possibly be Alex Smith. This is his make or break season.

I think "make or break season" applies to his head coach also. Nolan hasn't done much since coming to San Fran in which this organization is accustom to winning.
