Davis burning bridges with 49ers

San Francisco 49ers
The song may have remained the same on the scoreboard, but it's clear that San Francisco 49ers interim coach Mike Singletary is bent on changing the tune of players looking to fill a diva role. Tight end Vernon Davis, who seems content to let his talent be overshadowed by his foolish behavior, was rightfully made an example of in Sunday's 34-13...
What's the buzz about?

Adam, I wouldn't say that Davis is burning bridges in San Francisco as much as he is allowing himself to be made an example of. Singletary isn't going to stand for half the garbage from his players that Nolan did. It's pretty well known in these parts that what happened on Sunday never would have taken place if the former head coach was in charge still. Nolan might have said something to Davis as he was leaving the field but that would have been about it.

This is going to go one of two ways. Either Davis will use this as a learning experience and realize that his childish, self-centered antics are not going to fly under the new coach or he will continue to showcase his affinity for the idiotic and truly burn all bridges as you stated.

One more thing Adam, if you are going to cite 49er fans and the ideas that they come up with, please refrain from obtaining information from the 49ers.com message boards. They are at the bottom rung of the totem pole in terms of fandom and the link you provided only serves to prove that point. If you go searching for ideas on what the team should do in the future please go to a site with fans who know what they're talking about. www.49ersnews.com is a good place to start my friend.
