You really, really sound like you are reaching for anything possible to put down the niners, you must be a rams or cowboys fan. Don't forget that 2-4 followed a 3 game win streak and we did not have our #1 receiver the last two games, Vernon was still getting his feet back underneath him, and the Rams and Cardinals games could have been wins without the young mistakes.

You make good points that I've been concerned about. New coordninators on both sides of the ball and significant roster turn-over could make for a rocky start . . . and the schedule is no walk in the park. The Niners parts and pieces are obviously improved from 2006(except for losing Norv), but this year will be all about chemistry and how soon and how well all those new parts and pieces come together. I think Mike Nolan has studied up on team building excercises they will come together sooner rather than later . . . my prediction remains a division title.
