Considering that "Memorial Stadium was a quagmire even before kickoff, and the synthetic turf looked more like a duck-friendly marsh by halftime. Coaches Jeff Tedford and Mike Bellotti both thought it was the worst rain they’d seen in many years at California..." (source AP) plus the fact the Duck QBs are barely over a 50 percent completion rate for the year, their performance against Cal sounds about right.
