I would like to see grant get a contract done but i dont think he wanted the 6 yr deal they were talkin with him about because it was back up money. I know the packers are high on their other rb Jackson I think his name is so this should be an interesting situation.

Green Bay poses the typical existential football question at running back: Is it the back or the system? The guys listed (Dorsey Levens, Ahman Green, Edgar Bennett) had limited success when they went elsewhere. Is Grant like the others? I don't think so. Where the Packer's system is definitely beneficial to a speedy, stocky back, I think Grant has some intangibles that those three don't. He may receive very little resistance in becoming the number two back in the NFC this year.

He deserves a new contract. Esp. after this upcoming season supposing Aaron Rodgers is starting at Qb, who knows how he will perform trying to take over for #4.
