Green Bay Packers
First off a disclaimer...I am a Vikings fan. Therefore everything I write will be wrong according to at least 98% of Packer fans. I must say I'm still torn about the possibility of # 4 coming to the Twin Cities and wearing purple. I still don't know how I'm going to handle cheering for the guy I've jeered for years. This of course will be the...

First of all I'm speaking with on the fact that I'm a Dolphin Fan. So I will be fair and bias to this particular article. I totally against him going to the VIkings, because this going to set this team further back in the playoff race. Now, I understand that Tavarius Jackson, or Sage Rosenfels may not get it done. But we are talking about a dying legend. Bringing him in will stop the progression of Jackson, because after all he is getting paid to play this year and not sit the bench to watch Farve throw INTS. If thats the case then Dan Marino can call it a come back!! The Vikings have to find out what Jackson is made of first, and hope that Peterson holds up this season. Ok, lets say that the Vikings do sign Farve, well one of those QB's are going to have to go. Jackson maybe on his way out the door, to end up playing and starting for a team in the division. That could come back to hunt the Vikings! Just ask the Jets. This guy is all about himself, and doesn't care about his legacy with the Packers. If you ask me, sounds like a white T.O. If it walks like a duck, smells like a duck, it may just be a duck! The Cheese heads have nothing to complain about, because the Packers have commented to the future of Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers did put up the numbers, if I can remember correctly, the defense was the problem last season, not Rodgers! Watch the Games. If the drama of Farve comes to Minnesota, don't plan on making the playoffs, and plan on drafting in the top 5 next year in the draft. Wait a minute..... that maybe good news!!

Hey Dfan I'm going to pick a few nits regarding your comment. I can see you are not a Favre fan, Finster, but I can tell you that without any doubt, Vikes fans have no faith in Jackson. As a matter of fact, most felt that Rosenfels would have gotten the #1 spot, therefore Jackson's progression would not have been in evidence this year anyway. Jackson starting for another team in the division? Who would that be? As far as Rosenfels is concerned the Vikes traded for him but there was not a lot confidence shown by fans that he was the answer either. An aged Favre compared to those other guys? As hard as it is for me to accept, I think if #4 signs he will be an upgrade over the other two. Why wouldn't Peterson hold up next year, he did OK last year! Besides, with a better passing threat ( even with picks) his production should go up. The Vikes will make the playoffs.... #5 pick? That's a really lame prediction! Oh yeah...its Favre..not Farve.

I'm not hating on Favre, but he is washed up!! Dan Marino played a little too long, but he had a coach and organization that brought him down to reality. He didn't tarnish his legacy with the fins. Favre is a cheese head Legend, but not a football god. The media promotes him to be this god like person. Peterson will have a good year if he is healthy, and you cannot compare last season, and expect that he is going to have a great season this year.. Because there is a little setback called injury and it can happen to anyone at anytime! Thomas Jones had a wonderful year, last season. But when the game was on the line and when they needed Farve to throw a first down, he threw a pick! Then Thomas Jones was complaining that the coach and the organization would not pull Favre, because he was losing games from them. If I remembered correctly the Jets knocked themselves out of the playoffs, and the final game of the season was to get the patriots in the playoffs. As for the Vikings, hey I like that team, and I love the pick up of Harvin this year. Rosenfels is an ex-fin, and he won some games in the clutch for us. The greatest fourth quarter comeback in Dolphin history, where he throw the winning touchdown to Chris Chambers. Last year he looked like a bumb at times, and I can say the same for Jackson. But Tavaris did lead the Vikings to a couple of wins late in the season!! All he needs is to stop playing playstation and apply him self more to the game! Childress is too soft on his players, and I Promise you this, if Farve becomes a Viking, its going to look good in the beginning, but by the middle of the season, all those hopes are going to go down the drain. And you are going to have to get used to hearing," IT'S PICKED OFF!!" Then your star player is going to complain, then your coach is going to get the boot out the door, and he will deserve it! And then your going to be praying that the GM will pick Sam Bradford or Texas's own Colt McCoy!! I would love for you to Write Again another article on "How Dfan was so right, and how I'm a football god".
