The Panthers are notorius for 'doing it when they have to'. I hate this about them as much as anyone and it's definately not good for the heart, but their play often is reflective of the score. Sure, it's a low number, but it's week 5. Smith and Johnson have only had a couple of weeks to work on their powerhouse tandem, and i have a feeling once they get that honed, they will be much better. I think those two learning to bait DBs and utilizing either as a decoy at any given time is the key to overcoming this problem, and those two will be much more efficient working together against the backfield than either one could be separately.
