Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers' offense has done nothing but get worse over the past two seasons, and last season quarterback Jake Delhomme took a lot of heat for it and offensive coordinator Dan Henning got fired because of it. Now the team has a new offensive coordinator, Jeff Davidson, and a new backup quarterback, David Carr, who could replace Delhomme...

i would say put D Carr in.Jake Delhomme has had his chance to lead that team.I watch them play and he is not the same QB he was when they went to the superbowl. I think D Carr would be a nice boost to the offence.

It's great that we have a back up plan for Jake in Davud Carr. However Jake Delhomme is the greatest QB to put on a Panthers uniform ever! That is a fact. There are a handfull of teams that would love to have him. The backup QB is always the most popular person in town. Jake was a Probowler two years ago. Carr has not even been envolved in a winning season. If he can blame his lack of success on a poor team, than certainly we can cut Jake a little slack. He is not Payton Manning and we don't pay him like that either. You get what you pay for. He is great w/ game mgmt when he has time to make the decision. Its guys like Jeremy above that give the Panthers a bad name. It is crazy to hear some of things that come out of our fans mouths at the home games. The football IQ in my Home State NC is poor. We just watch to much college hoops.
