New England Patriots
For the New England Patriots this decade, public perception of the team has morphed from white-hot excited to absolute-zero frigid, from shocking and awing to leaving little more than disdain. Perhaps oddest of all about these onetime underdogs cum rabid Old Yellers is the strange doublethink many in the football world have regarding the Patriots...

Harrison should definitley be ranked number 1, even though I think John Runyan is a close second. It's seems like every time the Eagles play the Giants, it never gets called, but Runyan is always trying to tackle someone instead of blocking them.

If Sean Taylor was still alive (R.I.P) he would be receiving this "award". Not to say this is a good one to have but it shows that these guys like Harrison, play the game with a passion and it's always good to have those guys on the same team.

Also I just think Runyan is trying to finish out his blocks, rivalry games are going to be dirty.

SInce cheating was mentioned at the start of your column.
I have met kids 10-12 with morals so high they could not even consider a win a win deep inside when cheating. I suppose the fame, glory and money defies moral's.
One things certain every team the Pats face this season s not about rankings or first place is all to Personal. Every team, crowd coach they face is going to be like facing an army of loaded weapons.
It's going to be one heck of a season this year..
