New England Patriots
Take a seat there, kiddies, and let the old guy tell you about the days when Boston was known as the heartbreak capital in all of sports. You know one thought I am having about this Pats team is that this may be the mid point of a crumbling dynasty. This team is aging and if they don't get it done this year I don't see their chances getting better down the road, I think they get worse. The window of opportunity is half shut for the Pats, get one more now before it closes all the way. If the team vets rally and they play with this philosophy they could wind up in Miami.

Ah, Fr8ttrain, it's so hard to tell with the Patriots. In theory, you're just supposed to replaced the parts, right? Laurence Maroney is the HB of the future (see ya, Corey Dillon) and Asante Samuel (a Belichick draft pick) is the secondary of the future. The problem is that the Patriots aren't finding these diamonds in the rough as quickly as they're losing 'em these days. I can see Belichick and Brady returning to the Super Bowl ... in about 2011.
