Very flowery, over-the-top prose from a writer who is obsessed with his own voice. And what's the deal with "a bit of paper more important to the Patriots' personnel department than anyone's expect for maybe/possibly/conceivably Tom Brady's"?
The "expect" error is one thing, but the three modifiers strung together with slashes are tacky, hackneyed and amateurish.

There's no place for literary elitism on a football website. If you have a problem with what Os is saying, be a man and just say it. I suspect you are a Pats fan who got a little rattled at the prospect of losing that homeless guy who hangs around the Foxborough sidelines (how's my grammar?)
