Palko is good but Wannstedt cannot coach. He had a decent team last year and went 5-6. It is good that expectations are lower - they need to be. But Palko could be the real deal.

It's too early to judge if Wannstedt can coach on the college level or not. People said the same thing about Pete Carrol. Pitt woefully underachieved last year, but that's to be expected. We only play well on the down years. (-:

Good point - it is only one year. But Pitt was supposed to be very good last year - I guess what you are saying is that they might be able to get it done as long as no one expects them to get it done?
