Oakland Raiders
Thursday (or, in Oakland Raiders Land, Monday night) sees the return of NFL football, and nothing says NFL football like Las Vegas lines. A brief consideration of merely a few proposition bets for the late, late show capping Week 1 between the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders. A “recommendation” is offered as well, imagining of course that...

****ANYBODY GOING TO THE GAME?****

Should be a blast! I for one am staying home.

I'll be watching you guys whoopin' it up.

I think we can beat Denver....I'm not overly confident, yet I'd like to see the Raiders do it.

It's going to look nice seeing those black silks with the GU 63 patch on them! f the Raiders do half decent this year, i'll buy one of their jersey's off Raiders.com.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RAIDERS!!!

I think we can beat Denver too. Last year we win at home by 14 points (20 - 34), and lose in Denver by only 3 points with a last minute field-goal (20 - 23)

This year we have a better team, we upgraded some positions:
- Walker > Porter
- Gibril Wilson > Schweigert (cut by Redskins and NYG in 2008)
- DeAngelo Hall > Washington
- McFadden > Jordan
- Bush > Echemandu
- Lelie > Dwight

And in my opinion they have a worse team than in 2007, they lost Javon Walker, Lynch,... and the others are more or less the same.

Playing at home in week 1 we NEED to beat Denver. Go Raiders!

26-17 Raiders topple the Donkeys. Raiders rush for 230 yards with McFadden getting his first 100 yard game of the season. Fargas gets the touchdown. Russell stays in the system and completes 16 out of 26 attempts for 178 yards and one touchdown to Miller. Janikowski goes 4 for 4.

Not Bad.
