Oakland Raiders
Cleveland Browns second-year passer Brady Quinn fell 21 spots deeper than Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell in the 2007 NFL draft. On Monday night, Quinn took his team down the field in 46 seconds to set up a game-winning, 56-yard field goal to top the Buffalo Bills on national television. Raider fans had to feel a bit of envy. I beg to differ AC, i believe quinn came into this league nfl ready with the SMARTS of an nfl qb, that i do not believe russell has or possibly will ever have...did you see the touch pass quinn threw to harrison? have you even seen russell complete one? nope me either, seems like all his passes are overthrown or out of bounds...i'll put some of the blame on the raiders organization but i refuse to put it all on it, somewhere down the line russell is gonna have GET IT and i mean understand schemes and reading defenses, which is his major weakness right now.....so since we don't have adequate WR's i have put together my initial wish list for possible targets at free agency(WR's)....UFA's, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Lance Moore, Devery Henderson, Shaun Mcdonald, Bobby Engram,,RFA , Marques Colston(probably won't happen)..i believe chad johnson-anquan boldin are still under contracts for next season. but worth a look in a trade.

didn't get any comments yesterday, so I post it again, truly two upcoming star coaches..

If I was GM I would hire

HC..

http://www.baltimoreravens.com/People/Coaches/Hue_Jackson.aspx

let him get in Russell's head.. I really think he could be the one..

DC..

http://www.buccaneers.com/team/staffdetail.aspx?coachid=86

Before somebody snags him before, he would make our DB's better and get the LB's to act like defensive players again..

just my 2 cents..

I don't know LMN, i'll bet Hue Jackson will get a bunch of feelers or interviews for a HC spot, but i'm not sure about Raheem Morris he's got some good experience bit i'm a little skeptical if he's ready to run his own defense...i'm still betting that al davis will go with a known head coach and not give somebody a 1st time shot at running the raiders, i'll bet he's gonna name a coach with some headcoaching experience.
