According to nfldraftcountdown.com Oakland has taken a close look to the following player in Senior Bowl:

- WR Juaquin Iglesias (Oklahoma)
- WR Manuel Johnson (Oklahoma)
- P Thomas Morstead (Southern Methodist)
- C Alex Mack (Cal)

Mack is projected a late first round early second rounder, Iglesias is a second rounder. Morstead could be free agent and Manuel Johnson is a deep threat, he will be a late rounder (4-6)

Alex Mack is a good football player. But that just might be my Cal Bears bias, but I doubt it. He really looks solid.

Mel Kiper's mock draft has us drafting Jeremy Macklin. How stupid would that be? We do not need another speedy receiver / punt returner. If we do get a receiver it better be one with super athleticism and superb hands.
